How do I qualify?

• You must have off-street parking.
• You must install an OLEV-approved chargepoint, wich we always reccomend.
• You must use an OLEV-approved chargepoint installer, that is where we come in.
• Customer must have proof they are the registered keeper / lease of the vehicle.

AC Charging

Alternating Current (AC) comes from the national grid but Electric Vehicles must charge their batteries with DC (Direct Current).

An AC car charging point transfers the power to DC, allowing the battery to be charged. The specification of your Electric Vehicle effects how fast the on-board system can receive the AC current from the source.

AC car charging is the ideal option for a home charging system, as it is a cost-effective route. It is reliable and convenient. AC EV charger speeds depend on the output power of the charge point as well as the capabilities of the converter to change the power to DC

DC Charging 

DC Electric Vehicle fast chargers use 3-phase power, and have smart technology, enabling them to adjust the charge level to suit the battery state of charge (SOC). DC fast chargers can charge up to 50kw per hour depending on EV charge point capacity.

DC fast chargers bypass some of the size and power limitations found in an on-board charger, therefore the charging speed is much faster. Rapid charging is essential for undertaking long-distance journeys, or if you plan to cover a high number of miles. 

Many DC chargers can charge your electric vehicle to 80% capacity in less than an hour.
